Demystifying Pattern Design
The scope of this line of research includes all projects that aim to demystify pattern design as a learning activity (based on the geometry of the body), i.e., that aim to make it easier to understand and operationalize its process, highlighting, for that purpose, the part played by the embodied experience in the acknowledgment of the relationship between the dynamic, deformable body and its representation.
Thus, this line of research favors projects and pedagogical approaches that contribute to simplify the development of patterns and go beyond the boundaries of conventional pattern design, in the context of education.
