New Patterns For Fashion Education
The scope of this line of research includes all projects that reflect on the role of hands-on activities in fashion design education that, bringing into play affective and empathic reactions, contribute for the integration of all – implicit and explicit – information throughout the design process, from ideation to materialization.
Thus, this line of research favors projects that go beyond the boundaries of conventional patterns of teaching/learning fashion design (based on formal lectures and watching demonstrations), and embrace process-driven design methodologies of form generation.
